Coming Home Outfit For Baby Girl Biography
With 53 days until my due date (but, who’s counting?), I still have time to prepare for baby’s arrival. I haven’t given much thought to my hospital bag or what I’ll wear home from the hospital, but I have spent an embarrassing amount of time considering what the baby will wear home.
Both of my children wore the same white two-piece kimono outfit home from the hospital. It’s a very simple set, ordered over the internet (from Target, I believe) and delivered to Germany. My son wore it on his inaugural car trip home from the hospital in 2006 paired with an Ohio State hat.
The little white top and the shortest pants you’ve ever seen are now freshly washed and folded – waiting patiently for the new baby. There was never a question that baby will wear the same outfit as his or her siblings. The only question was what hat to wear with it. How to accessorize the outfit, if you will. I debated between getting one gender-neutral hat or getting both a boy and a girl specific hat for baby to wear home.
Of course, because I have no self-control when it comes to adorable little baby things I’ve ordered two: a blue and ecru hat with a button and a pink and purple hat with a flower. I’ll bring both to the hospital and can’t wait to see which hat will be worn on the ride home. The Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine is urging breastfeeding mothers to receive the flu vaccine. In a statement released today the ABM states that the flu vaccine is “Safe and Important for Breastfeeding Women.” The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) reports that “Breastfeeding does not affect the immune response adversely and is not a contraindication for…
My youngest Daughter was born 3 months early so her coming home outfit didn’t happen until she was already 2 and a half months old! Nonetheless, she was still only 5 pounds and nothing that fit her was to me, cute enough. I ended up buying her a doll dress that fit her perfectly and was absolutely adorable! All her nurses thought it was the cutest thing ever!
well honestly. i did have a sleeper i put her in when she came home from the hospital but it was a lil big for her to. cause i figured a newborn was going to be a lil bit to small. so a month old sleeper i put her in.since i wasnt really prepared what to dress her in. for my daughter
I prepared the cutest outfit( white onepiece and handmade hat) for my daughter for discharge and decided my husband will bring it to the hospital after I deliver. Could I imagine that he forgot about it on the day of our discharge. I was so upset i cried ( dont know were it hormons or I was really upset about the situation) so my DH assuming it will make me feel better asked nurse if we can borrow a few receiving blankets from the hospital:[ I could have kill him! Of course she said “yes”. So we ended up wraping my poor girl in old hospital blankets and got discharge. Needless to say how I was surprised, angry and glad all together to find bag with the outfit on the front seat of the car! My mom( she stayed home with our first child ) knowing that men always forget everything put it there the day before discharge. My DH ” forgot about it because he had too many things going on”. We changed my daughtrs clothing in the car and left the hospital. I love my DH but still angry at him because he almost ruined that special day!
